We are the heroes of our own stories. Yet, if someone was reading us in first person, what would they find?

Would there be someone to look up to? To agree with?

Would they see our blind spots that we purposefully ignore?

Would they buy into the image we try to project onto the world?

Would they be able to tell us something we fail to see?

True heroes are broken… and they know it.

Try not to hide your brokenness from the world. Sometimes, it’s what they need to see.

More importantly, it’s what you need to see.
