Once we get plans in motion, we want to keep them in motion as a train does on a set of railroad tracks.
This becomes a problem when something new comes our way. A small kink that forces us to maneuver the train on an alternative route.
It seems like too much effort.
However, with no flexibility, there’s no chance of improvement.
Get to the station you need to, but get off the tracks when needed.
The train will arrive in better condition.
