When we’re hurt, it can stick with us.
It can fester within for days… months… years… and may never go away. At our core, we want to transform the feeling and want to let it go, but this is remarkably difficult.
How do we even begin?
It must start with ourselves. We have to be willing to acknowledge it for what it is and understand why it’s there in the first place.
Then, we must find time for ourselves. We need to find moments where our minds can reflect and consider, spending time away to allow the wounds to heal.
From there, it’s a slow, steady process that you can invite others into.
It’ll take some time, but you will find freedom.
