There’s no need to wish for anyone else’s life experience if you pay close attention to your own in a day.
Recognizing moments as they happen are opportunities to see something in a different light. The key is to constantly ask yourself, “What other details do I notice?”
Don’t just go for visuals, but rather the entire sensory experience.
What else are you smelling?
What else can you hear?
What else are you feeling?
How is this affecting you physically, mentally and emotionally?
Don’t cast judgement on it either as the experience will then be filtered through a memory of half-truths in order to fit a narrative you believe in. Instead, tell the experience as it is and you’ll be surprised at how many stories you can tell from just a day of living.
Keep doing this and you will realize just how amazing life can be.
