We’re always trying to find ways to make our life easier, but what if we did the opposite?
What if instead of fighting for parking spots closest to the door, we parked as far away as possible and walked the extra distance?
Or what if we decided to not even drive there in the first place?
What if we took the stairs instead of the elevator?
Or tried to get a person on the phone to have a conversation instead of texting each other back and forth when it was convenient?
What if we spent the spare few minutes of our day reading a few lines from a book instead of checking our phones?
What if we decided not to check our email for half a day? A full day?
What if we decided to write a letter by hand to a person who we haven’t talked to in a while?
If we begin going this route, what would that do for our stress when our luxuries were temporarily interrupted?
