Life doesn’t get better if we keep adding to to the many things we have to do. It doesn’t get better if we try to speed up and cram as much as possible in our days.
Life certainly doesn’t get better when we can’t even enjoy the moment because our minds are somewhere else, anticipating the next thing we have to do.
We do too much. We’re stretched too thin and we have this belief we’re beholden to someone else.
Fulfillment in life comes from slowing down and focusing on what matters to us.
No is a tough answer to give when we’re always used to saying yes, but it can give us a path to peace. It teaches us to only say yes when that yes provides fulfillment in our lives.
