Loneliness is a killer.
When it is a path not chosen, it can re-enforce itself into a feedback loop of wanting to be isolated.
Nobody wants this for themselves as even monks live in community.
Being alone with your thoughts can be dangerous if those thoughts are negative.
Give those thoughts years to percolate and the mind is poisoned.
To separate oneself from others is a signal that we should be doing more to reach out.
Find a group that can lift you up – one that understands your need to connect. If that’s not possible, start your own.
When you see others who want to join… let them in.
