You Know What, But Do You Know How?

It’s easy to say what the problem is and what the solution should be.

The difference between someone who can take action and change a culture is they have a vision of how to get from the problem to the solution. They’ve mapped out the terrain and can show people how to walk the proper steps in getting there.

Anybody can say, “just do this,” but without the process, the solution doesn’t matter.

It’s the equivalent of telling an athlete that in order to win, they need to train harder.

It’s also the reason few people can handle politics and why many promises are broken after election day. Simply stating a solution is enough to get votes because it’s what people want to hear, but to follow-through requires an incredible amount of effort.

Many of us can think through the what, but few will get to the how.

The how is the process and if you just focus on the process, the results take care of themselves.
