The stress of your own life can easily project onto others, which will only add more stress to your own.
You can’t control how others are going to act (mostly) and the more you try to control a situation, the more stressful it will become. Unless you are a master of psychology (and mastery of the subject is a moving target), you won’t always get your intended outcome.
While this isn’t to say we should just accept any type of behaviour, but we would do better to understand our audience.
Always wanting things your way because you feel it’s the correct way will only end in frustration. It’s a closed-minded pursuit that will only bubble with anger.
In other words, if you’re a consummate planner… plan for things to go astray.
