The Internet is Not Truthful

You can buy good reviews.

You can also buy (or rally others) to give bad reviews for your competition.

We seem to think because many people online are providing their “honest” feedback, this is enough to convince us of its truthfulness.

The Internet is not designed to be truthful because it’s nothing more than a communication medium.

We are still responsible for sifting through the information, inferring the details and doing the research to confirm the claims.

The one thing the Internet does allow is for us to have a radically open mindset and explore each facet of our own belief system. It allows the creative conflict that helps us to see things in a new way and grow as a person.

However, if you don’t have the skills to properly assess what you’re encountering, you’re being played by the crowd.
