Writing is Therapeutic

When your mind is about to explode, it might be time to sit down and write.

The act of writing helps to empty out the mind and dig through its recesses to unearth everything. When you do a stream of consciousness and keep it going until you’ve said everything that’s bothering you, something amazing happens:

Your vision clears.

You calm down and start to see things in light of everything you’ve put down. Seeing it in front of you suddenly puts it all into perspective.

It’s something to try next time you’ve got too much going on.

Don’t think too much about it. Just put words down and let it rip.
